We\u2019re looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer<\/strong> to join our Data Engineering<\/strong> team, specifically the DataOps<\/strong> squad. We’re the team behind the pipelines that move and transform 99% of the company\u2019s data<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If you enjoy building real-time and batch data systems<\/strong>, working with AWS<\/strong>, and keeping things running smoothly under the hood, this is for you.<\/p>\n

What You\u2019ll Actually Do Here<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines<\/strong> using tools like AWS Kinesis, DynamoDB, S3, Elasticsearch, and RabbitMQ<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Own the technical health and architecture<\/strong> of our data platform \u2014 from ETL processes to observability and performance<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with other teams to understand data needs, identify bottlenecks, and deliver solutions<\/li>\n
  • Break down large technical tasks into actionable work for the team<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Suggest and help implement practical improvements<\/strong> to the stack and processes<\/li>\n
  • Help drive technical decisions<\/strong> and share knowledge within the team<\/li>\n
  • Occasionally act as a translator between engineering and product<\/strong> when it comes to data questions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What You’ll Bring To Us<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Solid experience with Java<\/strong> (we use Java 21<\/strong>) and the Spring<\/strong> framework<\/li>\n
    • Strong grasp of distributed systems<\/strong> and how to keep them reliable<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with NoSQL databases<\/strong> (e.g., DynamoDB), Elasticsearch<\/strong>, and data streaming<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • A proactive mindset<\/strong> \u2014 you like solving problems, not waiting for someone else to do it<\/li>\n
    • Good communication skills<\/strong>, especially when explaining technical topics simply<\/li>\n
    • Comfort navigating AWS<\/strong> and modern data infrastructure (bonus if you\u2019ve used Spark, Flink, or PySpark<\/strong>)<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Willingness to learn and experiment<\/strong> with new tools<\/li>\n
    • Already based in the Czech Republic<\/strong> and legally able to work here<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
